Save the date for Saturday, April 15.
If you’re planning to participate in the annual Y Run in mid-April, now is a good time to start training—experts typically recommend at least two months of training for races in the 5-10K distance range. That means that to run on April 15, you should be training by February 15 (if not before).
You can train to walk or run the race, depending on your personal fitness goals. Choose from race options including:
- One mile for kids and families
- 5K, which is 3.1 miles
- 10K, which is 6.2 miles
